After Palin’s stellar performance–several great personal connections with voters and a couple devastating attacks on Obama–the next two things I will remember most about this debate are about Joe Biden. First, Joe Biden likes to reference Joe Biden in the third person. Second, Joe Biden apparently spends a lot of time at Home Depot. Is that his way of connecting with the middle class? Hanging out at Home Depot? Strange.
Palin should have said, “Senator, I know Home Depot, I go to Home Depot, I love Home Depot. You sir, are no Home Depot enthusiast.” And then, “Sarah Palin wishes that Joe Biden would quit referencing Joe Biden as if he were not here.”
Update: Joe Biden, it appears, does not spend a lot of time at Home Depot. And the restaurant he cited for regular folks, closed 15 years ago. Joe Biden needs to ask Joe Biden whether Joe Biden might not be so in touch with regular folks after all. Joe Biden.
Joe Biden is at Home Depot
